A few celebrations, squeezed into our very tight schedules. This post is officially, 1 month and 2 days late. That simply spells out how occupied i’ve been these days.

1st up, surprise celebration in the school canteen by my fellow colleagues and my students. I don’t have pictures because i lost my handphone recently. ..  I’ll try and get them from my students, if they still have it in their phone. Thank you dear colleagues, Cikgu Wati, Ms Loga & Siew Yian for the cake and the Bonia clutch bag.

2nd, was celebrations with Naz at night. As they were busy training for KGMS, he ended up passing me my pressie before we got on his bike and headed to Owen Rd. It was a nice Guess watch. Love it alot, thank you Love.

The next day, we had lunch at Royal on Scotts, after i rushed from SYF training in school. So, I didn’t get to dress up, or even put on a bit of make-up… Naz was really sick; he had a temperature… but he still went on with the lunch. I really appreciated it lots.

Food was good; i loved the dessert and sushi most.

A few days later, two of my WD girls surprised me with a cake and present at Pastamania.

All in all, thank you to all for still making it a point to remember my birthday, despite our busy schedules. I really appreciate it.

Oh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY HANISZA! I am two days late… and i dun have ur number.

I have quite a few things to update on… including my Bday celebrations; which is very minimal this year because we are all oh so busy doing the things we do. Haiz… but it’s ok lah. I shall update this post with pictures soon. Yeay.

Something is not right, but I can’t quite put a finger on it. Often, I get this kind of feeling when people are talking behind my back. Oh well, it’s not within my control. My conscience is clear; I have done nothing wrong… so, I shouldn’t be bothered. I’ll just carry on doing my own thing.

Swine flu outbreak is causing quite a bit of disruption. My China and KL trip will be postphoned I think. I was looking forward to the trips actually, but was very concerned when I heard of the recent case in HK. Glad the school decided to reschedule the trips. A tad too risky to travel all the way there.

The MT papers are over, and the students are NOT in the mood to study. Oh man, they can be quite a handful when they’re distracted. hehe, but I’ve found a way to manage them (Nope, not gonna pen it down here).

I wanted to purchase caffeine free Hydroxycut pills last month, but they were out of stock. So I figured I’ll buy a whole bottle in May. Just as I was about to leave for school yesterday morning, I heard about the first Hydroxycut death and a few other casualties due to liver damage. I’m not sure whether it’s due to overdose, but I’m not taking my chances.

Guess it’s back to good old jogging.

Hari ni, aku tanak cakap omputih. Hari, ni aku nak tulis bahasa campur aduk. Sebab… aku pun manusia.

Lepas satu, satuuu penyakit. Dulu bird flu, sekarang swine flu pulak. Nasib baik kita makan kawan tu. Eeee .. geliii. Wekk.

Aku tak habis-habis sakit dua tiga hari ni. Baru kelmarin mc satu hari sebab demam. Selang dua minggu, sakit high fever .. sampai cecah 40 degrees. Adeiii… Tu part dah terbaring tak ingat pape. Mc lagi… kali ni dua hari.

Lepas tu skrg .. Diarrhoea pulak. Adeiiii… Macam-macam lah. Takkan nak mc lagi? Teruskan je ke sekolah. Dua hari MC pun da rase macam lost. So apa nak buat? Pergi jugak sekolah… Habiskan print exam paper. Alhamdulillah, selesai juga dicetak dengan kedua tangan sendiri, kesemua 6 kelas yang semua berlainan aliran dan peringkat… Maha leceh.

Hari ni, perut aku masih sakit… tapi tak seteruk sebelumnya. Aku dah hilang tenaga nak buat macam2. Hari ni, kalau orang ketuk2 pintu kat staffrm pun aku tanak berganjak dari kerusi aku lagi. Sebab aku da penat. Asek-asek aku, asek-asek aku yang kena jawab.

Lagi sehari mengajar, lepas tu peperiksaan .. kemudian saat yang dinanti-nantikan .. CUTI! Cuti pun aku kena hantar ke luar negeri.

7 hari pergi Cina, 3 hari pergi KL. Yang bagusnya, ongkosnya ditanggung beres. Korang doa-doakan aku tak dapat swine flu aje lah. Yelah, nanti melawat Tanah Besar tu, mana tau terpaksa berdamping dengan erm kawan tu. Eee… gelii.

Aku dah penat ler main lari2. Kelmarin lari pergi sekolah, lepas MC cetak exam papers. Lepas tu dapat berita terkini, kena buat show kat CC pulak. No excuses. Lari lagi… ni kali jauh sikit ke Bedok CC. Nasib ada manpower; budak-budak baru no experience. Tkpe, tetap manpower.

Lepas tu, kalau nak jumpe tunang tersayang, kena larii pi Bishan CC. Lepas dia bes trg, kadang keluar kadang kalau dia terpaksa bertugas… lariii lagi… pergi office dia. Kadang2 lari pergi Jurong Shipyard, kadang2 ke West Coast Pier. Nasib naik motor, kalau pakai kaki skrg badan aku da macam supermodel dah. hekhek.

Kadang rasa macam nak lariiiiiii dari semua orang. Hai, apa nak buat. Lebih baik telari-lari sebab ada kerja, daripada terkejar-kejar cari kerja. Kalau takde kerja masa kegawatan ekonomi ni, parah jugak.

Jadi terpaksa lah berlari-larian.

Maka berlari-lari lah kita berdua. Jangan jatuh sudah.

Skrg dah tak payah lari sgt. Sebab dah tersingkir. Bagus. Main lari-lari ni kalau dapat pingat emas takpe. Kalau dah tersungkur, tapi habuk takde, percuma aje… Jadi bagus, bagus tak masuk.

Boleh kita jalan-jalan pimpin tangan. Boleh kita duduk-duduk ambil angin tepi pantai. Aku dah penat berlari, tanpa objektif yang nyata…

cant werk 2day .. I haz a bug.

Ya, I wish. But nope, too many things to settle… so, today I’m still in school. I’m not complaining because I know everyone else is just as busy.

Let’s see… Today will be quite interesting. A recce to two hotels with my buddies from SWBC. We shortlisted these two hotels for our Tday lunch, so we’re doing the recce  today.

Tomorrow will be a shorter teaching day. I’ll be off after 1/2 day to settle the dance team with a fellow teacher for SYF. Then wed and thur will come, then fri is a gd friday! Holiday!

I have forgotten to bring Ms Loga’s camera today (again) & I forgot to issue a few birthday gifts for SWBC. Uh oh. Will do so by tomorrow!

… this little blue choo choo is running out of steam.

I can’t quite decipher why I’ve been consistently falling sick over and over again ever since I started teaching full load. Now I’m down with a terrible cough. Worst part of of having this cough is, I can’t sleep properly because I’ll wake up at 2 or 3 am and cough non-stop.

The 3 day special programme was interesting but draining. Monday, sexuality education programme. It’s not a norm for teachers who are still single to be deployed to teach about sexuality, but somehow I was down to teach sexuality for both days. Mild topic, just PDA. I was lucky to have had a co-teacher who was very sharp when it came to discipline and willing to accept my ideas. If we didn’t brainstorm on activities to compensate for the lack of resources on the topic, I cannot imagine what it would be like if I had to talk non-stop for an hour and a half for every session.

Tuesday, one session of the sexuality programme and oral exam for the 4N & 4NT. Okay, not too bad… but still tiring because it’s one after another.

Wednesday, beach-cleaning at ECP with 2/5.  Fun, but tiring because of the very hot sun. Ate at Mc, because the activity ended a little early.

I’m not complaining, but I am quite tired. I haven’t had time to rest since what seemed like forever. There was PBP, then there was the engagement, then the whole 1 week holiday was spent on our Malay dancers who will be going for SYF the following Tuesday. Ouh, and little miscellaneous things preparing gifts for the O’level workshop and podcasting for Commendation Day.

Looking on the bright side, at least I’m not doing things alone. So far, there has always been someone around to do all the “running” with… and I’ll probably have quite a bit to write in my EPMS, which is a good thing.  Nonetheless, it STILL has still been very tiring.

Ouh well, like a fellow teacher once told me, “Welcome to the Stress Express!”

How apt.

My BP Teh Buddies, for the two trays of goodies and their presence. When the masjid came over to the other side, they were all trying decipher the “symbols” we sent in the form of cakes and goodies… (you know, like masjid lambang rukun iman lah …)

Thank you for trying to cheer me up during tense moments; but it did get a little warm when all of us cramped up in the room. Heh.

My aunties and uncles who ‘rewang-ed’ from Friday till the day itself. The kuih, gifts, all much appreciated.

My granduncle who was my “wakil” for the day. Wouldn’t have been possible without you.

My Abang and Adik, who helped battle the dust bunnies (haiyak!) and made the house spick and span.

A pre-engagement photoshoot never crossed my mind, but Hani suggested it, and I never regretted one minute of it! Kinda cool to have shot at Kampong Buangkok because I didn’t know it even STILL existed!

… after 5 years, I’m engaged to my first (and hopefully my one and only) love. My very patient and awesome photographer is still editting my pictures (thank u hani, for everything), so I hope to upload pictures by end or mid this week. Preparations were crazy, but things went smoothly on the day itself. And ouh, the pre-engagement photoshoot at Kampung Buangkok I like alot! Will upload all that soon.
