I’ve been letting alot of the “what ifs” bother me these few days. I don’t think I should elaborate because I do not fancy writing with a erm cluttered mind.
… and what do i do with a cluttered mind? Get that adrenaline / endorphine rush and runnnnn…
…
Anyway, it was nice meeting up with you again babe.
I enjoyed the the girl talks we had. I hope Monday works out.

… is when someone complains about their job and EXPECTS people to help them. I’m not selfish or calculative; I just can’t seem to rationalize your actions. It’s your job and you’re being paid to do it so can you pleaseeee do it and not complain? It doesn’t make sense… because if teachers are expected to do what you’re doing, then we might as well NOT have you around. If you expect me to help you do it, I might as well NOT ask for help in the first place.
I don’t like begging… and I especially hate it when I am expected to beg for something that is rightfully mine. It’s your job, not mine. I’m sorry, I think I’ve been nice enough by not asking help from you even during the exams. Only this ONE, SINGLE (favour?) task, and I’m expected to help?
No can do. I’m leaving at 1230.

We didn’t exactly have coffee, because apparently the Coffee Bean at Bugis is no longer standing. So, we had lunch at Swensen’s ( student rate; thank god our matric cards didn’t state the date of expiry/ graduation). Then, we combed Bugis market for the best deals. Lepak-ed at LJs before another round of window shopping at BHG.
Typical me pose
While at LJS, I suddenly realized my temper / anger management got a lil bit worse ever since I started teaching at Secondary level. I used to have a higher tolerancy level with kids, but now I just get very irritated with kids and have developed a certain allergy towards noise. I think, I shall make full use of the protected time to reflect and recuperate. Probably, I just need a break and some personal time with myself.
Bought two flower clips! Will wear them when i go either Sentosa or during the Bintan holiday. hee.
…
Shall visit the “family shop” at 2pm with the gals… and will make deposit at Tampines. I’m not ready to announce just as yet, but I sure hope everything turns out well.

Guess where guess where?? MArina Barrage.
An impromptu outing, initiated by a few of my WD gals out of boredom. It’s quite a cool place to relax, and take lots of awesome pictures with the pretty blue sky and the Singapore flyer as the backdrop. The last two pictures above were captured by a professional photographer who was experimenting with his camera. He saw us do our “jumping” shots so he asked if he could capture us doing the jump because he wanted to test his shutter speed. Thrilled, we went jumping away. Woohoo. Beautiful backdrop, professional photographer. How could things get any better.
…
we ran around for a while in the fountains. Didn’t get to take many pictures… because my camera’s battery decided to go flat.
I like! I so can imagine taking wedding photos there.
However, if you’re planning on getting there, it’s advisable you bring food and water along because the shops there are not open yet. It’s also not advisable to go via public transport. There is shuttle service but the timings’ are limited; weekdays 8.30am – 6.00pm, weekends 8.30am – 8.00pm. Getting there is not too bad; you can always flag a cab from wherever you’re from, but going back is definitely a problem. We ended up walking back through very dimly lit roads with lots of big, tall, spooky trees hovering over our heads.
“Beranikan diri!”
* kecik pushes me in front. (Cekik darah punya budak kecik; dia takut dia tolak aku.)
“EH bukak musik ah.”
“Alah, handphone battery dah nak flat. Later I want to call my mum how?”
* 2 minutes later
“Ah takpe ah bukak musik aje.”
Luckily enough, after what felt like hours of walking to the HSM’s soundtrack, we saw a green light… TAXIIIIIIIII! So yeay, at least we didn’t have to walk alllllllll the way back.
…
Love, let’s go there Friday with the whole gang.

Managed to compile produce questions based on interesting newpaper articles to be used for the whole of next year, together with Cg Wati. Yeay. Now, we just need to send it to the photocopy lady for printing and binding.

Went to Holland Village with Liza and Adek yesterday.
Ate pasta at Coffee Bean; yumz. I like!
Didn’t take pictures of the pasta because we were busy gobbling it all down.
Didn’t do much; just walked around, and randomly checked out a few shops; which included two stores selling costumes and party essentials.
I think I really want to buy a long sundress. I suddenly realized there are quite a few items on my wishlist for this month:
1. Perfume – most probably Escada’s Moon Sparkle or Nina Ricci’s Pretty
2. A long sun dress
3. Fitflops!
4. Travel Bagpack
Item number 4 was introduced to me by Liza. It’s a new brand of sandals ( not flipflops mispelt). Quite interesting… and probably good for someone like me, who walks to school.
…
Wanted to head down town to watch HSM, but ended up on the wrong side and decided to make a pitstop at my house first. Then guess what? I fell asleep… for a good hour or so. Haha. So in the end, we bought spring chicken from tasty and watched a few old dikir videos. I just realized Liza’s got a perpetually bored / stoned face on stage. Damn funny. Ouh, and I uploaded the 3rd generation of Deksus 1st competition; Piala Md Maidin 2005. Only four years ago and we ALL (well, almost all) look so different! … and Shikin played juara. Haa, cute giler lah kau.

Nana’s engagement.
… and we did what we do best. Cam-whored!
We all go peaceeeeeeeeeeee and shikin decides to joget piring. Haaha.
We were SUPPOSED to watch HSM, but we ended up lepak-ing. But at least, we had fun, and had a fruitful discussion. Hee.
…
Can’t wait to go Holland Vee-ing with Liza tomorrow. Yeay. Maybe I should just watch HSM tomorrow.

As promised, we met up on Friday for wanton.
Blk 26. Teck Whye Lane. Used to be $2.50 per bowl. Now it’s $3. After about 7 years, only 50 cents difference. Not too bad lah hor.
Only a handful because we chose to meet during lunch. The wanton noodles tasted a little different, but I can’t quite tell why. Everything else was pretty much the same; the powerful fans that never fail to mess up my hair are still doing their thing, yang tze kiang is still situated next to the coffeeshop. However, I wonder what happened to the Ah Pek who normally shouts “TAO Niii”… Hmmm. Nonetheless, I’m glad I made the trip down to Teck Whye Lane.
…
Yati & me accompanied Hans to work because I wanted free ice-cream. Yumz.
… plus, since it was Halloween, they needed a lil help with their costumes. Hans got me to paint her face… and her fellow scoopies as well. Hee.
I’m not that good with face painting (I do stage make-up; not face paint!) but it didn’t turn out that bad.
Same pose, different hat, different back drop.
PS: Shikon, our pics are not up yet because… I still can’t find my card reader. Boo.
